The times when research and development focused primarily on basic research, a systematic activity whose priority is to expand knowledge of the object under study regardless of practical application, are receding. In a fast and constantly changing world, research and development must adapt to current trends; generating new knowledge alone is not enough.

Over more than 30 years of operation, VUIS – CESTY, spol. s r. o. has built an exceptional position in this area as well. A young, dynamic team with a broad reach across various fields of natural and technical sciences cooperates with several institutes of the Slovak Academy of Sciences, public universities and foreign research institutions.

We strive to cooperate with and involve contracting organisations in the preparation of new research projects as well as in the implementation of their applied outputs, with the aim of introducing them into practice. VUIS – CESTY, spol. s r. o. continues to offer strong research and development with an open innovation strategy.
